The specific applications are as follows:
1、 Drilling operation: Core formulation of high-density drilling fluid
       Balancing formation pressure, the density of calcium bromide aqueous solution can be adjusted to 1.8-2.3 g/cm ³, which can effectively prevent fluid invasion of high-pressure oil and gas reservoirs and avoid blowout and wellbore leakage accidents.
       Suitable for complex working conditions, with a temperature resistance of over 200 ℃ and strong salt and pollution resistance, it is suitable for drilling in high-pressure, high salt, and high-temperature formations. When combined with zinc bromide, its performance can be further improved.
       Protecting oil and gas reservoirs, with stable chemical properties, no reaction with formation fluids, low filtration loss, can reduce drilling fluid blockage and pollution of the reservoir, and ensure subsequent production capacity.
2、 Completion and oil testing: weighting agent for completion fluid/workover fluid
       Completion fluid configuration, used for perforation, cementing and other completion operations. High density completion fluid can maintain stable wellbore pressure, prevent formation collapse, and avoid damage to oil and gas reservoirs.
       Adaptation to well repair operations, as a weighting agent for well repair fluids during well repair and replenishment processes, it balances downhole pressure and provides safety guarantees for operations, especially suitable for deep and ultra deep well repairs.
3、 Oil and gas gathering and transportation: crude oil dehydration and pipeline protection
       Assisted in demulsification and dehydration of crude oil, as a synergistic component of demulsifiers, it destroys the emulsion system between crude oil and water, promotes rapid oil-water separation, reduces the water content of crude oil, and meets the requirements of gathering, transportation, and refining.
       To prevent pipeline scaling and corrosion, its aqueous solution is neutral and will not exacerbate the corrosion of carbon steel pipelines. At the same time, it can regulate the hardness of water quality, prevent the formation of scale such as calcium carbonate, and extend the service life of gathering and transportation pipelines.
4、 Oil and gas field water treatment: sewage purification and reinjection
       Oily wastewater treatment is used to treat oily wastewater generated during oil and gas extraction, adjust the mineralization and hardness of wastewater, and improve the purification effect of wastewater by combining coagulants, fungicides, etc.
       When the treated wastewater needs to be reinjected into the formation, calcium bromide can optimize water quality parameters, avoid damage to the formation caused by reinjection wastewater, and ensure safe and efficient reinjection operations.
